Long exposure photography is where it all began for me a couple of years ago. At night I would drive around the city of Philadelphia with my tripod and experiment with this form of photo work. It wasn’t long before I discovered HDR and thus began to experiment with the abused medium. I feel I have a solid understanding of HDR tone-mapping and have always experimented outside of the HDR workflow. The B+W ND 10-stop filter was one of the best discoveries for me at the end of last year, as I’ve really enjoyed working with this filter. I opted not to tone-map this image, even though I did a series of long exposure brackets. This Broken Pier that sits at 59th Street in Ocean City NJ is an incredible location to photograph. I’ve captured many angles of this beauty and look forward to sharing them with you.
