Gate To Hell

Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, PA. is a great place to practice a little urbex. While inside on a rainy weekday I was able to experience E.S.P. for the second time as a photographer. This time going back and looking for new angles on a place I’ve shot before. I’ve learned a lot since I last visited this historic prison and I’m glad I came home with some fresh brackets to play with. One of the greatest things about this place is how much decay is actually here, but it’s a public tourist attraction. The roof was leaking in many spots during the storm so you can get the sense the place hasn’t been completely preserved.
