Nikon D7000, Nikkor 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5, 10mm, f/8, ISO 100, 2 Second Exposure
Sunday March 25th, I’ll be conducting an HDR Workshop at the Lansdowne Theater in Pennsylvania. This image however was NOT processed as an HDR. I loaded this 2 second exposure into Photoshop CS5, where I added Tonal Contrast and a subtle Split Tone filter with Nik’s Color Efex Pro 4. I wanted to boost the texture some more so I utilized the Detail Pop preset within Topaz Labs Adjust 5 Plug-In. I then selectively brushed in the effect using opacity layers in CS5. Overall, I was able to achieve a tone-mapped feel but in my opinion it didn’t need to be an HDR image. Topaz Labs are very generous and will be giving away two copies of Adjust 5 at my upcoming workshop. See you there!!!
