I originally cropped this image and converted it to black and white to make “Bright Eyes” but I wanted to share this alternate take of the same shot. As much as I love B&W long exposures, I just couldn’t resist this color image. The contrast between cool vs. warm tones and light vs. shadow is very pleasing to my eyes. The editing on this image was quite minimal, as I caught the light about an hour before sunset. Have a great upcoming weekend, everyone!

Kris Koeller - Very cool shot.
Chris Maskell - Great job Scott, really love this type of image
Michael Glover - Fantastic POV! Love the clouds!
Wayne - I think it’s cool how the building to the left come to a point. While the windows in that building are perfectly aligned, they seem to become random in their pattern as your eyes move towards the bottom of the photo.
- Gregory Allen Deese - [...] Uptown – lines, shapes and geometry are all studied in this great shot from Scott Frederick. This upward looking picture creates an almost abstract feel with the natural lines Scott captures from the buildings. [...]
Scott Frederick - Thanks a lot Kris!
