Seeing Red

Kimmel Center Philadelphia, Scott Frederick Photography

Nikon D5000, Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8, 55mm, f/2.8, ISO 1600

I completed this image back in December of 2011 and decided it was time to share this abstraction. I shot this at f/2.8 to create a small area of focus where the light is brightest. I think it worked out well in creating an image with minimal depth! Who says things have to be in focus!

Wayne - Pretty cool, as you scroll the image down, the reference for the horizontal changes giving motion to the lines.

Krys Pyrex - Gah, that must have been a head ache to edit! You did a great job though, and what a cool perspective.

Michael Glover - This is a very cool effect Scott! Kind of reminds me of the level meters on the old stereo’s!

Scott Frederick - @[509155439:2048:Krys Pyrex], this image was fairly minimal to create. Not too much of a headache! :) Thank you!
